which is strange as ELV just replied that none of those could work with the CCU2 ?!
Maybe there is a redesigned model (due to the common chip shortage) on it's way too, like the HmIP-PS-2 and HmIP-PS-2 9YM. Both are sold as HmIP-PS-2 but you don't know whats on stock and what you get. So the safe answer is no. ;)

I ordered a HmIP-SMO-2 on Amazon.
If not ok I'll send it back.

Good news, and as listed by the CCU2 device list, the "HmIP-SMO-2" works perfectly with the CCU2 !
And it is in fact also clearly described in the manual ! : CCU2/CCU3

To be 100% accurate it is indeed recognized by the CCU2 but...after a lot of trials I have not succeeded in creating a direct connection with it!

It recognizes itself as a valid direct partner but doesn't offer any other element (like switch, etc...)

I had to create a program to switch on my light instead.

Which might be due to the fact that you used a Homematic (non-IP) device before (HM-Sen-MDIR-O-2) which you paired directly with some other HM device.
Now you tried to link a HmIP device to a HM device, which does not work (and vice versa).
